Cool pics. I know that they do some TJ stuff in Michigan, but more complex builds are done in Montana. My Brute's up there now...it's getting finished but I hope to have it for EJS.
I've been looking at pictures of Brutes for several years now, but this one sends me over the edge! Reminds me of the Willys pick up that a neighbor had when I was a kid in the early 60s. It was industrial yellow, you know the color that the highway dept uses on their vehicles, and it had a canvas top over the bed with red gas cans on the side. It has been my dream to have something like that ever since, and the one in picture above is it!
It was like this with a canvas top on the bed:
“This isn’t the Old West, because the New West has never arrived. It’s just the West, like Wyatt Earp died yesterday.” ─ Michael Martin Murphey talking about the Eastern Sierra during an interview in 1996.

my family and myself are originally from michigan and every year we try to make it to the North American International Auto Show, we stopped by AEV on the way.
they were explaining to me that they do all the TJ stuff in montana and all the JK stuff in michigan. here are some pictures from when i was up there of their stuff. i wasnt allowed to take pictures of the inside as they had 'trade secrets'
IMO honestly, even if the leading "edge" starts to wear off, i dont see how having a sharp edge on a tire tread is really gonna help....i mean as long as the tire still has tread, the edge shouldnt make a difference
