I love AEV. Really nice guys there. They are located in missoula, montana which is where i was born and raised. Took the boyfriend there a couple times to go see them in person. Dave (the owners) brute (the first red one with 40's) is a freaking monster in person!

You got to see the process? Thats really cool! Someday the bf's TJ will be a brute......and hopefully someday i'll become rich and famous so i can afford the JK conversion with the 6.1 hemi in it! The 5.7 will do ok too.....

my family and myself are originally from michigan and every year we try to make it to the North American International Auto Show, we stopped by AEV on the way.

they were explaining to me that they do all the TJ stuff in montana and all the JK stuff in michigan. here are some pictures from when i was up there of their stuff. i wasnt allowed to take pictures of the inside as they had 'trade secrets'

those heat reduction hoods are something else. Even though its fairly simple, they completely change the look. You gotta do highlines and a heat reduction hood on your TJ! I wish AEV did stuff for the ZJ/WJ crowd. We tend to not have huge bank accounts though, lol.

And you don't need *that* much from what I've seen to build it...it looks like a little welding (And the appropriate grinding smooth), and that's it. And, obviously, paint.
Well i've got the TJ... Maybe i'll take out another loan when it's paid off for the Brute kit

Cool pics. I know that they do some TJ stuff in Michigan, but more complex builds are done in Montana. My Brute's up there now...it's getting finished but I hope to have it for EJS.

I love those highline fender kits. too bad their so expensive (parts, paint, finishing, etc). they look much better & more finished than the homebrew versions.
