"I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole!"

So, how many of yall picked up an old jeep that someone in your family or friends told you "I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole!" ?

That's what my father (R.I.P.) told me when I picked up my old jeep. His words verbatim, were "I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole."

Well after having the jeep for a few years, I happened upon a 10 foot pole, and yea well I had to take the photo, I touched that old jeep with a 10' pole.

Post up the photos of the old jeeps that you bought that your folks or friends told you not to pick up

And to start off the thread, my neighbor back home picked up this jeep, complete with many extra speed holes After seeing this old jeep, I think I actually said "I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole!"

I hope he proves me wrong, and makes an awesome jeep out of it! Post up.

Well, I didn't buy this and it did run... But still I thought I'd post its picture as I regret walking from it.

The wife and I seriously considered it, being for one that her dad has an auto body shop that could assist with restoration. And to think I had my wife's blessing to take up garage space...

After I already bought the XJ, I was asked why I bought it. High miles and faded black. One of the best jeeps I've owned!
