How's this? An aluminum bodied Scrambler that is on coils and 8 Currie double Johnny Joint arms behind a Ford 5.0 GT40 headed 300 hp V8 driving 40's through Ford 1 ton rear and Dana 60 front with Powertrax Lockers bolted to a custom Throttledownkustom Hybrid 3/16 box frame with some 1/4 plate crossmembers all put together around zero suspension lift and zero body lift?

I'm using an NP205 case and an NP435 tranny with a racing truck clutch and Wilwood hydraulics. Twin sticked with interlock shafts removed and now with rear Caddy calipers but still also with a drive-line e-brake as well.

I'm up to designing a cradle mount and hope to get this sucker done by late spring 2012- just before the world ends.

Chck out my first post- it covers some of the high-lights.

Just posted in the classifieds - I'm pretty sure this is a "sleeper"... Dodge HEMI V8.

How do you like the bushwackers? I'm tryin to decide between these and metalcloaks for my YJ.

Not in the same sense as what most here build their Jeeps for, but I've been told a number of times mine is a "sleeper" for what we do.

The bushwacker s aren't bad, pull from the fenders slightly when flexed, that being said I don't currently have a lift. If you have the cash the metal cloak is the way to go, in my opion. Or try the modern classic enterprises flares

Not too aggressive looking, though capable. Like it!

It's a street driven/sand dunes/sand drags setup. Even though I run paddles, it looks waaay more docile than most of the things we race. Out on the dunes, it looks like (or less than) every other Jeep/truck with paddles. Here's one shot from the sand drags.

Here's a picture (not the best though) from the dunes.

Thanks for the compliments!

My daughter and her friend fell asleep in the Jeep from the campground to the trailhead.
Would that make mine a sleeper?

Lol is a CARR rotabar I got it of quadratec. I love it but the install was confusing cause the instructions aren't really clear. But its durable and if you get it put a bead of silicone around where it attaches to the body.

You can see most of my mods if you look close. I place my stickers under the hood.

1/4 inch steel medic engine t-case skid, ($375.00) JCR off-road front bumper,(won in a drawing 2005) Daystar 1"BL ($99.00) Superwinch Epi 9.0 w/cordless/in-cab controller, ($800.00 ish shipped) JeepersCreepers D44 skid plate, (won in drawing 2008) Rock hard sliders with a big shout to David at Northridge4X4 for making the save, ($300 ish shipped twice once at high cost) CB, (free) Koz off-road cage add on ($300 ish in group buy) ZJ steering Moog, (hundred ish dollars) got another couple hundred bucks in SS fasteners, lug nuts, recovery gear, material to make things, blah, blah, blah.

I never plan to get more than a couple inches lift and will high line first once I am done wearing out my last set of spare 31's.
