I fabbed this up last summer to accommodate being able to tow the Jeep. It's 3 in angle iron. It was supposed to be temp but I liked it so much I left it on.

Here's a pic with the tow stuff attached. I put a hitch receiver on it to mount a winch in case I got into any trouble wheeling.

This is my homebrewed front bumper, came out better than I expected. Started with a piece of 2"x4" box tubing, cut and angled the ends back 15 degrees, looked to small so I added the 1 1/2" tube on the bottom, angled that back 15 degrees also. Then made the light bar on top, two seperate pieces just incase I change my mind about the light setup. All material from work, tubing and paint. Even got some help from the guys in the shop. Cost me zero bills...Freakin sweet...

image-2197815871.jpg Made a custom spindle. I used d60 outer pinion bearings for the swing out to ride on. image-3260641734.jpg image-1950053904.jpg image-2941318779.jpg image-4223870534.jpg image-3863464184.jpg image-3414325211.jpg Still using and abusing a year later. No rattles at all and the hinge is tight as can be.
