Umm.. Whats the purpose of 'high steer' i take its because of the extreme lift, and the much needed clearance so you dont bust your steering linkage on a rock?

first off that is a dana 60 in the pictures he posted.

the purpose of the high steer, is clearence and more importantly correcting steering geometry

Blah. Yeah, it's a D60. It's longer left-right, and has a more angled profile.

Is that a custom high steer kit or did you buy it somewhere. The MORE one on discount jeep parts seems a bit pricy, and you cant even use it with 4" leaf springs! Any ideas of which company makes one which will adapt to 4" leaf springs?

which setup are you refering to?

neither of the axles posted in this thread are stock, sjplat runs a dana 60 and my axle is a dana 44. My setup uses Shakerbuilt arms, and I made the tie rod and drag link myself.

BTW, are you planning on running the 4 inch springs soa?

I "wanted" to use the 4" springs, cause I want a monster, but I think I am not going to do the SOA now.
