That'd be nice. When I was still in high school we had to find a spot on the street to park and even so, there was still no other jeeps.

well you don't have a rubi and you have a D35 rear which means you don't have a sahara

although its been about 3 years since i've parked in my high school parking lot, mine was the exact opposite of what some of you are describing...mud was a trophy in the parking lot, although more enormous diesel farm trucks than jeeps

I used to park in the back and take up two spots ( no the lot was not full ) and some a**hole would park sideways in front of me and almost block me in. So one day I rubbed the side of my tire down the side of his car. He never did that again. Sometimes I wish I could go back to high school.

x2 There's a Junior at my school that just bought a '90 Cherokee and it has a 2" lift that was on it but he only has road tires and a girl that I know who is also a senior who recently got a Cherokee but she has no clue. Other than that there are 3 or 4 trucks (stock), none of them go off-road, 2 of them are on their last leg anyways. The rest are cars like my friends dodge stratus and such and then the beater cars that cost $400. (about 10 of those)

My friend HAD a 96 explorer until we went on a muddy deep water trail (back when I was stock) and he hit a 1.5ft puddle going to fast and sucked up water, it didn't hydro lock it just sucked it into the oil and frigged everything up. He got rid of that and now drives a Mazda B3000 (trying to get him off-road again)

My school is only about 300 in all at the high school. One of the rich girls mom has a Hummer but she probably doesn't even know what a transfer case is.

Man I wish I had pics to post. We have 5 Jeeps in my lot including mine. A stock tj, a 2in. lifted yj w/ 31's (not really a consistent wheeler but doesn't mind getting it muddy), 4" tj w/ 33's (never touched dirt and looks stupid anyway), my buddy's '76 CJ7 w/ 33's and mine. Me and my friend with the CJ7 are really the only two people that actually wheel. The year before we had a lifted, chromed out yj that never touched dirt and was actually the brother of the 4" tj owner just mentioned. The year before we also had a guy (I wheel on occasion with him) that had a lifted cherokee that was the most devoted, hardcore wheeler out of any of us. He does some of the most difficult trails in Colorado.

Yes sahara's still come with the D35. The D44 was still only optional to the buyer/how the dealer ordered it.

So are you trying to brag that you live in a wealthy neighborhood because your mommy and daddy are rich? lol j/p

x2 i got mine a few weeks after i graduated, but i still had fun at a school of 1000 seniors, 1000 juniors, the 9th and 10th were at a dif school. everyone knew me and my friends cause 4 of us had 82 chevy pickups with the 3/8 inch steel bumpers, oh i miss the days of playing bumper cars in the parking lot and the hit and runs we would do on each other if we saw one another driving around town
