Mine's on the hood and I hate it there. I'm barely tall enough to un-bolt it and probably couldn't get it off the mounts without busting the windshield anyway. Buuuut.... all this was a Christmas gift, so I p robably shouldn't complain

Same as many. $5 in exhaust clamps from AutoZone.

Some angle iron and bolts. Used the existing screws in the hood bracket. Even put a lock on it. Cost about $30.

mounted mine between tailgate and rear seat, out of the way and keeps the weather off it

can i reccomend lowering your Hi Lift a bit. try sitting in the back seat and putting your head back. now imagine your in the back seat and get into an accident. by lowering the jack you can keep it from potentially cracking your passengers skull.

Thanks for the thought, but nobody ever sits in the back seat. It's been used twice in all of my years owning it, I'm just too lazy to take it out!
