Hi-Lift Mounting locations
I have seen the front bumper mount, not sure I want to put it there. I need more ideas.

If you have a swing out tire carrier, that is a good spot, here is mine

If you search the forum you can find other mounting locations

I put mine here. Right below the windshield. Just need to make a cover for it now.

mud.....i got them at Lowe's. can't remember exactly what aisle i found them on, but it think they were in with the plumbing stuff. they are called 'conduit clamps'. i believe in the 2" diameter size. just find the length of bolt you will need, and the nuts and washers to space it out. i use a larger diameter flat washer on either side of the jack. i like it this way with the wing nut because it's really easy to take on and off. i use a kryptonite cable lock wrapped through the jack and around the rollbar when the top is off.
i saw someone recently that went with the same basic idea, but cut out using the conduit clamp and just drilled a hole through the rollbar and put a longer bolt through that and then used the same washer/wing nut design.

While I like the tidiness of mounting her on the roll bars on the inside, I prefer the jack to be located on the outside since space is a hot commodity in the Jeep. I've taken to the vertical mount:
The mount is incorporated into the bumper swingout; so it swings with the tire and rack. It serves well for me.
Cheers,
M

I've just tried that with the 2" diameter and it's not going fit, do they make bigger ones?????????? (I think this was the biggest I saw).

Eye Bolts, I replaced the ones that came with the rack with longer/stronger ones.
The base plate has one bolt through it for security/safety and two zip ties to keep it from moving or rattling
