goodyear wrangler mtrs with kevlar

considering these tires, looking to see them on a rig, pref. 33's , but any size will do

how do you like them? do they do well in mud/rock mix?

I've wondered this myself. I run the regular MT/Rs in a 31" tire, but kinda like the looks of the kevlar version. Anyone know if they ride better/worse than the regular versions?

Have had 32's on since middle of the week. Took a trip today and have found the road manners to be to my liking, some noise, not to much, handle good on the road. Have not had a chance to get them off road yet. So far I am enjoying them. Look great on the jeep.

pics?

Also are these tires directional? Seems one forum member had to have the white letters out because of this.

any size under 33" has white letters. bigger sizes are black. not a directional tire but the "a/t strip" has to be mounted inwards.

So 33 and smaller are white lettering? Wonder what rims will match the white lettering and grey body...

That's what I was wondering. I think there is a member on here with 285/70R17s and he had to put the white letters out because of the a/t strip.

OK, I'm not one to stir the pot, but did you knowingly mount your tires inside out? They are not directional but are symmetrical. The larger lugs go to the outside (like the picture above yours of the red jeep) at least that's how America's tire described it to me.

I prefer the black side out but didn't know you could do it............

There asymmetrical and his are mounted incorrect. There will be a loss in performance and possibly be noiser but thats really it. They will wear the same mounted either way. I'd mount them correct if you want 100% performance out of your tires

Jp magazine just had a fat article on both with pics on their latest issue, you should check it out. They said the new Kevlar run smoother and are NOT directional

He just has to drive in reverse.

I'm not sure why ever Goodyear only offers white lettering on 33s and below? I didn't know that was a big selling point?
