Front license plates!

If you're like me and live in a state that requires front license plates, you cringe! I'm in MD, and bought a Wrangler from DE, so I need to throw it on the front. So, curious where y'all have put yours? Throw up your pics!

Here is a picture of my license plate. It probably won't help you at all if you don't have a roof rack, but I figure I would toss it up for you anyway.

Drilled holes in my license plate and bolted it through the winch mount holes, then bent the plate downward so it would show.

My front plate is attached to maglite clips and clips onto my fairlead. I have never had a problem with it coming off. The bad part is that a friend can easily flip my plate upside down for pictures instead of taking it off. It is a little hard to focus on the plate in these pictures, but enjoy.

Front license plate a while ago, bolted through the bumper(it came like that and it really doesn't bother me). It's just slightly bent due to going through some thick mud and whatnot when I first got the Jeep, this pic was right after the lift was installed.

Then in this pic I nearly tore it off trying to pose on this rock. One bolt ripped through the plate and the other was very close to doing so.

I've since zip-tied it and just bent it close to flat by hand. I'm proud of my first trail damage

Mine looked like this:

So I hammered it around the bumper to look like this:

When I get my personalized plates later this week, I'll use one of those flip mounts that goes on the fairlead.

I used self tapping bolts on mine but I put mine up higher so the plate wont get beat up. Put the bolts in the bottom of the plate.

Hope this might help

I like the plate mounts made to mount to winches personally.
Flips up when needed and stays down perfectly.
