I've had my Viking for about a year now, LOVE it. Having said that, it does have it's downside. When you first get it it's infinitely easier to put on if you do it on a hot, sunny day, and let the top sit outside for 15 or 20 minutes. Window removal/reinstall is very easy. Only thing I don't like is the fact that it due to the nature of the top, you pretty much have either a full top or bikini, it's a pain to take the entire thing off. I took the entire thing off a couple months ago and it's not been back on since, I have the luxury of a garage and if it looks like rain I drive the Exploder. Viking's customer service was second to none, I had one dealing with Thor himself and I could refer many other companies to him on how to do customer service. Unfortunately he sold the rights to the top to Rampage I think and no longer sells them himself. The price has come down quite a bit as a result though. Can't speak for quality with Rampage making them. Would I recommend? Sure, just be aware it's (obviously) a lot different than a factory top where you can have a full top, bikini or topless, with this it's alot more work to go topless.
'06 LJ, Bestop Trektop NX, Smittybilt front/rear bumpers, 4" RC long arm lift, Currie HD steering, 35x12.50x18 Toyo Open Country MT's, 18x9 Fuel Hostage's, matte black special.
I have the original viking top from Thor at vikingoffroad.com. He may still have a handfull left of the originals but I am unsure, mine was one of the last 20 made in the USA. Definitely put it on in the sun, it was much easier to handle. I like having something overhead so I don't get burnt so I only take the windows out and it is very easy to do. I didn't take any installing pictures but I think there are some in the TJ technical forum or maybe Cotton 4X4 has some in his build thread.

NEW JEEP 05 TJ Rubicon: The Tangerine Machine
SOLD 97 TJ: 35's, tube fenders, 4inch zone lift, rear armor, 1 inch BL, and the usual noob stuff.
i have the rampage frameless first time i put it on it took me about 30 minutes much fast the second time around. i like it, it keeps the water out during the summer months. the only pain is you have to take the whole thing off and somehow store it in your jeep when you want it off for the few hours or whatever. dosent just fold up and and chill in the back like a factory one does. however for the price and if you dont have the factory bars its great.
This is from the company that people love to hate, California Tops. I personally have had no problems with them at all...politics aside, this is their Multi-Top which is no longer made for the LJs I believe, but it might still be made for the TJ.
The install was very easy, first time took about 30 mins. To remove the entire thing takes about 5 mins. I generally run it without windows, but I just bought the Spider Web Shade and have that installed at all times. It can be left on with the soft top and the hard top....anyway, here's a pic of the California Tops Multi-Top:
Pros: quality construction, easy on and off, multiple configurations (full top, half top, bikini top)
Cons: pricey, LOUD and does flap with the windows off.
