I think Jjeeper(some number) added some hooks right behind the roll bar so the straps come straight down. Looked much better.

How much did you pay for this one? Factory style header means no drilling right?

Sorry for click but can't post yet. This is the only pic I could find of my Bestop Trektop, right after I put it on. Had it about 5 months now, fits nice.

I paid $300 for this one, for the simple reason of a window scratch I got out with WD40 and some missing screws. If I had the money to do it again, I would have paid the extra $200 for the black. But, you live and you learn.

Correct, no drilling. The first install took a bud and I about 30 minutes, probably could have done it in less. Typically takes me < 5 minutes to go completely topless, slightly more to put it on, especially if it isn't warm outside or not in direct sunlight.

The inside straps are nice, sometimes the flap in the wind when the sides and back are off, but if you position them right you don't even notice them.

Overall, yeah, there are some days that I wish I had the stock top I could just throw back. However I like the frameless/bowless look that it provides, as well as the sunrider and safari options you have with it. Good buy IMO.

Just browsing and saw this:
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/pavemen...-56840-15.html

It appears to be the exact same top as the Bestop Trektop NXT, except that it uses your factory windshield header, door surrounds, and tailgate bar - Whereas the previously mentioned comes with all new hardware (although most of it is almost, if not, the exact same)

Better price point, only slightly more expensive than the frameless rampage:
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/rampage...nd-109735.html

Both are much cheaper than the actual Bestop Trektop NXT. On second thought perhaps I wouldn't have paid the extra money for a 'non-damaged' black one:

I went with softtopper.com. It fits great. No noise. Easy on/off and American made.

I'm going with SofTopper made for the factory door surrounds. I like the Rampage & Bestop bigger windows. But like the rest of the guys, not a fan of the Rampage straps that doesn't tuck inside. The SofTopper is a complete kit with header bar and rear window bar, 4 different colors, underside storage for windows & Sailcoth.

This shows the model with their door surrounds.

Under side storage is a joke. If you get yours to work let me know how. The panel is too small. Speaker bar is in the way and no head room for rear passengers
