ford 8.8 with 33s

Just wanted to see some rear end clearance pictures (flat ground would be awesome!) of a ford 8.8 with 33s

about as close as I can get right now.


I personally haven;t had any clearance issues with the 8.8, aside from the diff hitting the factory gas tank skid on occasion. I guess there's ways around that though.

Bump for interest. I'm installing a 8.8 in my tj later this month after the sye/cv shaft install. Running a 2'' lift on 265/75/16 Duratracs (just under 32'') and a Riddler diff (for 8.8)cover(low profile). Should be interesting to see and give me a good idea of what to expect.

TJ/XJ it doesnt matter, its gonna have the same clearance either way.

90 YJ, 4.2 with 2150 carb 4.0 Head and headers, Nutter with TFI and MSD. 1" BL, 2.5" spring lift, 33", Goodrich KM Mud Tires. Dana 30 w Aussie, Ford 8.8 w LS. 9000lb HF Winch.

These were taken shortly after I went SOA and installed my 8.8 (~8.5 years ago). I ran 33x12.50x15 bias ply TSL's at the time.
