when you can afford it the anti rock is awsome i run that and at the time i was running 4.5 re springs short arms and 35 inch trxus and still ramped 925 on a 30* ramp

Not to be rude but have you ever heard of gravity? The spring supports the vehicle and allows for axle travel. Gravity supplies the traction, and axle rotation provides forward/ reverse momentum. Put it this way, if you completly removed your springs would you have 0 traction. Of course if your spring is out of the seat your available traction at that wheel will be proportional to the amount of weight on that tire provided by gravity. you obviously would have more traction if your tire was on the ground and out of the spring than if you used a limiting strap and that same tire was not on the ground. Limiting straps are for protecting your shocks from being overextended.

Gravity pretty much give you jack for traction after that spring is unseated from the spring perch. Your tire that has all this gravity pushing down on it pretty much just floats along the ground. Try not locking your diffs and see how much traction gravity gives you with open diffs. With that tire that has the spring unloaded you'll be getting pretty much no help from gravity while the one with the pressure on it just sits there.

Limiting straps aren't there for just your shocks either.....
