Flat Fenders...

Ok I have Metal Fusion fenders that I am picking up in a week or so and I got them for next to nothing, BUT I'm not 100% positive that I want to hack up my factory fenders. Where could I find a pair of OEM Fenders definatly not new, just need the inner fender to hack up? What do you think these will run me, say if I can get them out of a junk yard?

Last could everyone who is running flatties, POST PICS OF THEM on you're rig...doesnt matter the make of the fender just want pics to help me justify this mod.

I would say that your SOL on finding any fenders anywhere because more than likely if a vehicle is in a junkyard its because its totalled and you dont normally total a vehicle by hitting it in the rear. Just cut em off and quit whining. Heres a pic of mine with PSC's

That looks sweet, just wondering but what rear guards are those and did you paint the fenders, if so with what?

Don't be worried-cut away-they will come out nice & you will wish you had done it sooner. I made these F&R with 1in DOM & 1/8 in steel with a 5in flare.

You'd be hard pressed to find a used set for less than 4 bills...

They are PSC rear crusher corners and PSC rocker knockers that I painted with black hammered paint, it turned out to be a gunmetal color. And yes I painted my fenders my self it was just as easy as with a rattle can but I used a gun and had my local napa mix me up a quart of paint to match my vehicle.

Well, all those pics are from people that did it and didn't look back. I understand if you want to get another set.

Junkyard Dog

I've had nothing but good luck. You search the part you want, and junkyards around the US email you back with a quote. Way cheaper than ebay in all of the times I've used it.

Anyone happen to have an extra front marker socket from their old fender? Mine fell outta the holder and got mangled up on a rock the other day. Electrical tape isnt cutting it too well so far.
