Yes. There is a medic chase truck in the form of a 99 XJ in my town. Plus a few police cars.

In Thurston County here in Washington, we have a Jeep Patrol... Volunteer subdivision of the Thurston Co Sheriff... Unfortunately, their website isn't working... They had some pics...

Locally, upper darby fire co utilizes a '95 XJ as their traffic unit.



Otherwise, I suppose my '98 XJ POV counts?

There's a lot of Cherokees and G Wagoneers in use at the smaller towns around here. No pictures unfortunately.

Hey guys check this out. This is a link to the fire department that im at we have 3 jeeps we use for brush fires. 03 Rubicon, 85 Scrambler, and an 81 Scrambler. Theres nothing that even comes close to these things in the woods.

That 85 Scrambler is custom built from the ground up. Its got a 350 Goodwrench Crate motor with a 4speed auto. If you mash it in 4low she WILL pull the front tires off the ground! The Rubicon obviously has some work done to it but Im not too familiar with the specs on it. I do know that before it was put in service they guys took it to a 4x4 Jamboree in Indianapolis and it took an award there.
