Fender-Mounted CB Antenna

I'd like to see some pictures of Jeeps with a front fender-mounted cb antenna, more specifically this Firestik mount:

I've been thinking about running this setup on my LJ. I've found many zoomed in pictures of the mount, like above, but none of a whole Jeep with an antenna installed. So if anyone uses this mount, please post some pictures up! Thanks

That probably would not live long here is the PNW, I found a cool one on amazon that mounts behind the taillight. I don't have a picture right now I will try to get one tomorrow.

Always bring a compass, it is awkward to have to eat your friends.

^this. I live in the PNW and mine didn't last to long. There is to much flex in the sheetmetal of the fender. Mine fender started to develop cracks and became loose before to long.

I've got the same set up on my TJ. I had the bolts come loose once, but I was going through a thick alder tree patch. I would run it with a spring if you think you are going to run it in the brush or trees. Most CB guys say you get a stronger signal with the antenna mounted on the front left due to the plane of the signal or some tetchy crap like that. For most people you're just using it to keep tabs on the group you're with, so mounting it on the back works fine also.

Awsome, thanks for the input guys. I do spend a lot of time in thick brush, and it doesn't sound like the fender is very strong.
