I followed these steps:

1. Apply to UNLV in 2005.
2. Get roommate, and make good friends (best friends) with roommate
3. Wait approx 5 years for roommate to become one of the best automotive/fashion photographers out there.
4. Coincidentally go shooting with some friends a few miles up the highway from where photographer is doing a shoot for an NSX in a dry lake bed.
5. Pass photographer on the highway at 70mph while his camera is hanging out the window.
6. Ask for copy of photo. (Ps. there is no photoshop, and no post processing even).

No, Joshua Tree NP. Actually the area North West of the park, just outside the park boundary.

Canon 40D on that one, with the EF-S 17-55 lens. If you're thinking of a DSLR, used 40Ds are a steal in this market right now. The lenses always hold their value though. That lens runs around a grand new.

At first glance it looked like the Johnson Valley area near the Fry mountains
