BFG AT's work very very well on some terrain and fairly good on other terrain... Decent choice in Southern California - especially if it is your DD. Just my opinion...

Agree... it depends on the trails and the overall use. I've driven my TJ on 30" AT REVOS on some rough trails in Colorado and they did fine. It wasn't rock crawling, but then I don't have a lift and it's a new TJ. Just like with that photo of that Rubi, although it does have a sweet RE lift, who is really going to beat the hell out of it being new, especially as said when it's probably also a DD?

I caked mine w/ mud inside and out 2 days after owning my TJ.

I pay over $300/mo and beat on it every chance I get

Is a Rubi with ATs worse than a TJ with open diffs running MTs? I know what I'd rather be running when a wheel is lifted.

For the record, I've got ATs that came with my Rubi because the previous owner hated the MT/Rs on the street, which is all it was used for.

I'm in the process of a build now, and likely will run KM2s, but have not ruled out ATs. They are a pretty good compromise for a TJ that sees DD use on the interstate, even one with lockers.

Spyder's gets my vote for favorite, and is pretty much my model for my build.

If you want to get technical, that is actually a Ford GPW.
