That was awesome! Obviously he's tired of not having a nice bed and full bath when out in the bush.

I get the idea from most of the pics, but can someone "define" expedition/overland style, just for kicks?

HA! That's so cool, thanks!

Credit goes to the original owner who brought it to the state it is in now.

Thanks, all! These wheels are one of the things that first attracted me to this LJ when I was Jeep shopping.

They are indeed custom made Stockton wheels, commissioned by the previous and original owner - he had them on two of his personal rides.

Here's another pic:

Which roof rack is that and do you like it?
Thank you!

The rack is custom but it is very similar to the Garvin line of racks. I suggest you check those out as you will get something extremely similar to mine.

And as far as this one goes, it's very solid and does the job. The girlfriend and I recently threw a small mattress up top during a meteor shower and lied on it comfortably for hours.

There was a blog I was following a couple years back, a guy took a 4 cylinder TJ all over the place, Canada, US, South America. I can't remember his name or the blog, but it shows with the right planning, a TJ most certainly can be used to travel long distances.

Here's my niner with a few add-ons.
Will be installing some tail light guards later this week, also I'm having a few items powder coated along with some touchup paint bring done.

Thinking about making a removal swing out gas can carrier that also has a small storage box between the gas cans.
I made this up with Photoshop.

When you swing it out there will be some places for putting an umbrella post through.
I want to be able set up in a few minutes and pack up just as fast.
Behind the small storage box there will be a place for setting an ice chest when camping, which the top of an ice chest also makes for a good little table.

Only those who will risk going too far
can possibly find out how far one can go.
