So what would people say if I wanted to just do white or black?
would tractor paint be best or something else?

when I paint my CJ I am planing on using Rust-o-luem paint, you can buy a gallon for $28 and quarts for $8 if you need to make touch ups later on

Thanks. I just saw my friend who has been in the Marines for the first time in a while, and he was pretty impressed. (He's back on medical leave, humvee hit an IED and he had shrapnel removed from his knee, also got a Purple Heart from the president for it.) He said all it needs now is a .50 cal on the roof.

Right after unmasking. Bodywork and paint all in the same driveway. While a driveway paint job is less than ideal conditions, it can be done with satisfactory results.

i was thinking about repainting my TJ in the garage in about 2 weeks, what would you guys say is good paint to use that will turn out nice with a nice glossy finish? ive never paited anything b4, im starting small with my bumpers first, my granddad is going to help me and he used to own a body shop, but I need to know what kind of paint to use, and I plan on taking my sweet time to do it, i have 2 weeks of vacation after this week b/c our plant is on its annual shutdown, so any help is great! does rust-o-leum turn out really glossy?

hey

Do you have to do anything before painting the body? (Sanding, priming?) Or do you just start spraying with a rattle can from walmart?
