Not odd at all. My carport is about 100ft away from my house. It's open on one end. I make several stops as I'm walking away to look back and admire it. Sleeping in it would be odd. Don't worry, I won't tell, lol.

I sold my TJ to my father-in-law and I always make a point to go see it whenever I'm at their house. It's in a separate garage.
My LJ lives in my driveway so all I have to do is look out the window

How about watching for the reflection of your Jeep in a storefront window? I look for at often.

I'll catch myself hanging out in the garage looking the jeeps over as well. Most of the time it's nice. Other times, I hate popping my head out and looking at the mess of a project I'm buried in.
