Steel Soldiers.

WANT. I'd love to have one - particularly with the way these imbeciles drive out here! I'd have more metal on one damned wheel than you find in most cars on the road here in CA!

And I'd like to get an M113 Gavin, put road tyres on it, shed about a tonne and a half, and throw a pair of 4BTs in it for my wife to commute back and forth to work in. She's an excellent driver, I just don't trust anyone else...

Ok Here goes, these are trucks either owned by me, my brother and our dad in the past year...
Mine

my brothers 3rd

my dads

All three of those we bought at auction in PA and had to drive them back to NC, about a 15 hour drive in those trucks.
Here's the whole convoy for the ride back, 3 buddies came up to bring back 2 other trucks

Here's another three, that we bought first, before those others.

Bought them from camp lejeune, except we already had the tall box truck, we bought that one locally.

And some where there's pics of another one we had basically looked just the same as the one above

I reckon that would be a great cheap tow rig for my TJ... technically wouldn't be towing... a flat bed piggy-back ride would be more like it... but still very awesome.

Thats how we use ours , we plan on taking that doorway out of the back of that truck and building ramps from the trailer to the bed and putting my tj in there.

I love this one and actually saw one in the parking lot at work the other day with a trailer attached.

The one I saw had glass windows on the side and I've never seen one like it before. What were these used for?

That thing cant get out of its own way. I think the top speed down hill is about 65 at the most. I would love to see how you would get in the back though.
