Deep Mud

Keep in mind that this is the FIRST time I took my Jeep out muddin...it was about 30*...it had been raining all night....I got stuck at 1 AM in the morning...the ROTC guys laughed at me......I didn't have a locker....had a worn out I-6 and hadn't switched to the all-powerfull and unreliable 304....and that mud was the kind that would suck your boot down to the knee and took all your strength to get it out...

OK OK, so I'm making excuses!!

This thing looked like every other foot deep mud hole on the trail. There was obviously a one sided drop off though...



Didn't get stuck though!

The hole in the center swallowed it hood deep about 20 further. I didn't stall and came up out of it and kept going.

That is a cool video. I had seen it before and just still can't understand the guy in the red...? that tries the old walking on water trick and sinks to the bottom of the pond. What was he thinking?

notice how slow i was going until about 25 feet after that where it drops off...i pushed in the clutch before it got deep slung it in 4 hi, and cleaned those bad boys off. wish i had the final pic as it was my deepest, water was right below the fenders
