It seems like a lot of rock bouncing and when your wedged in the rocks turning is where the weakness lies in these axles. Truss and rcvs could significantly alleviate both those issues

And replacing the flexible factory carrier with something like a Detroit.

The axles can hold up to some abuse....I've been very hard on mine.
