my pops used to run it. now he runs a 60. not saying it can't be done, but he was going through unit bearings and ball joints quickly enough that a 60 became economical. He is into his junkyard ford 60 about $1100 and he was putting a several hundred into ball joints and unit bearings every 18 months or so. and it isn't like he was buying his ball joints and bearings at autozone. he was running spicer joints (they last the best we found) and timken bearings. 37's are a big tire and the dynamic forces they apply to parts is beyond their specs. you would have the same problem on a tj 44. but be slightly better off with a 44 out of an older ford truck or wagoneer.

Good info. I just want to run it until I come up with the time/moola for something bigger.
