the jeep's chrome done as a joke with the guys i wheel with and wont come off untill some one else dose or says something stupid

if it΄s not too much chrome is ok.
my TJ came with chome bumpers and sidesteps and and and.
that was really too much.
from monday on it has only a chrom grilla and all the other parts are black.
that΄s ok for me.

I think you need a bumper sticker that says "Chrome got me home" or something similar. Really cool looking YJ.

I like chrome, but not too much of it. I think the chrome grills looks pretty cool on some, especially on the old CJs.

Texture contrasting is using several different grades of paint that are the came color (gloss,satin,flat,and that spray-on bedliner stuff in a can). On my YJ, I did the raised center portion of the hood with that spray-on bedliner along with the body line on the hard doors to help blend in the hardtop lines. The bumpers were done with a flat black. Several other accessories were done in satin, and the body itself was factory gloss black. Another contrast was the wheels; blackwalls (not shined) on black steelies for rims.

you guys all took me wrong when i said chromed out... or maybe i should have explained it better. the grilles and nerf bars and lights and bumpers all look good. i didnt mean jeeps with rims. i know better than that.

this is my jeep.... the only chrome is the lug nuts and the outside of the center caps... (the grill and headlight bezels are now BLACKED OUT! )

2000 TJ sport "STORMTROOPER" dual tops, 4.0L, 2.5" coil spacer, 2" BL, jks quicker disconnects, worn out 35x12.50 bfg M/Ts, 15x8 d window rock crawlers w/ 4" backspacing, front stinger, custom rear bumper, superwinch lp8500 winch, a to z rocker guards, husky liner floor mats, CB/PA system, daylighters, and straight exhaust
