My father's TJ. Factory green with rattle can black on hood and doors



What kind of paint did you guys use for rolling it on?

Done by one broke redneck with rustoleum and rattle cans, and a ridiculous amount of time and sandpaper!

I really like that on the hood. I have these grayish fading spots on the top of my hood and have been thinking of what to do about it. I think I may have found the answer!

Here is my spray can paint job. Found a website that would match the factory amber fire paint, bought 5 cans.
Really took my time sanding, priming, sanding. Applied the basecoat in 2 coats over two days and then spray paint
clearcoat in 2 coats.
It's far from good, but good from far.

I painted the nose of the "Jeepacabra" with rattle cans....but it's usually dirty so most people don't notice
