CB Radios Installed pics Uniden Pro 510XL

I want to see your Uniden Pro 510XL installed in a TJ or LJ. I am thinking about this CB and want some installation ideas.

nine, you might want to check out the mount I'm selling for the TJ. I've sold a couple here. They work out quite well and look stock.

honestly if you are in need of a c.b look at a connex 3300 hp its a darn good radio,i have approx 40.00$ in it and i can talk 10/15 miles depending on where i am ,i also have had no problems out of mine either ,i have had it for over 2 years and had no problem.
just figured i would give you something to look at ..

I wouldn't waste money on an export radio, ie a ten meter radio converted to 11 meter. A, it's illegal and that's a no no here on the forum, B, they have a dirty signal. Get a Uniden 68ltw or a 78ltw or one of the elite series. You can get a like new one from thier site for under a hundred bucks and you'll stitch the lips of a connex.

Texas Ranger for me...

I welded two tabs onto the roll bar for the cb mount, and screwed the antenna mount into the tailgate (I plan on changing this to a welded on tab to the tire carrier).

Next time I'm in Knoxville, I'll hit you up to show you. Just because you're seeing watts with a dual final radio like a Connex 3300 doesn't mean much.

If you go to a keydown, (radio comp) you'll find that 100% of the competitors are using CB radios, not 10 meter exports. It's for the very reason I described above, the signal is on frequency and all the power goes out to that frequency.
Ever hear a radio "bleed" or "splash" other channels? That's because they're dirty signals and 99% of the time, it's an export radio with clipped limiters, sometimes, they aren't even clipped, it's just something they do.
