CB mounting locations

i want to install a CB in my Jeep but havent figured out where to put it so some pics of where yours are would be cool.

iirc some people have it mounted on their front bumpers, rear bumpers, and tire tire carriers. Those are the most frequent spots ive seen that are ideal for mounting one..maybe other peple can chime in that have one on their rig.

I put mine on the back of the center console....with the antenna on the tire carrier




'97 Tj Sport, 4.6L Stroker, 5-Speed, 4-in suspension lift, 35" TrXus M/t's, Dana30/Ford 8.8 w/ Aussie Locker, Teraflex ExtremeShort SYE, custom front and rear bumpers, Flowmaster Off-road Series, and a bunch of other goodies........MoPar or No-Car!!!

I put the radio in between the front seats on the floor

And the antenna on the tire carrier

hey simon got a pic of that overhead console with the rag top off?? i would like to see how it looks
i dont think i can use one of them cause of my sound bar or can i??

No pics, but mine is zip-tied to the underside of the sound bar.

Good sound that way. Use pipe insulation on the sides, to make it a little more pleasant for your back seat passengers, who might smack it getting in or out.
