Like it says, mine needs a paint job real bad, don't wanna worry about a good color paint job, I wanna see less than 100 dollar paint jobs, If its a million dollar show winning camo job honestly I really don't want it, I want something I could care less if I scratch it, and cheap to keep a couple rattle cans around for touch ups if needed.
Then go down ur local hardware pick up the cheapest can of house paint for like ten a gal and paint the *****, "if your worried about scratchin it dont even show up!!"
House paint won't stick very good though, I was thinking rattle can, just don't really wanna do the armies camo, feel like its best left to our boys.
Also kicked around just a flat olive drab, that would spray easy and be easy to touch up.
Ooh, me likey that idea. I've been trying to come up with a cheap color scheme for my TJ once I get these last bits of cancer fixed. Always liked olive drab and some camo jobs but didn't want to for fear of being like everyone else. That snow camo would be really sweet.
Check out my build in my Signature for more pics. OD green and painted for about $50. I've scratched and dented my jeep and it touches up and matches perfectly.
I panted my old Toyota with some black industrial paint from where I used to work, got it for free, mixed it with some lacquer thinner and it worked great. Easy to fix if it got scratched too.
Get yourself some marine paint, that stuff holds up great, but its expensive though. I painted my old steel 1966 boat trailer with it back in '92, and its still holding up!!! Saltwater & all!!!!
You can brush paint it too, and it leaves no brush marks. It levels itself out.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
