Body Armor Tub Rails?

Is anybody running these tub rails from Body Armor? I'd love to see some pics of them on a TJ. All I could find was this 4WD catalog shot and another pic of tub rails, but they're not BA:

I am interested too. Been contemplating to buy the upper rail only one. I wonder if the left one would fit around the MOPAR aluminum fuel cap.

All that top one is going to do is screw up your tub if you get on a rock on it with any kind of force.

That second pic looks like the Rokmen corner armor with the tub rail option. It's not an add-on kit, it ships from Rokmen already welded up and will be much stronger than anything you bolt on. If you hit that bolt-on armor at the right angle you could seriously FUBAR your tub. However, Rokmen and Savvy both offer bolt on aluminum rails that are much slicker and more low-profile and don't look like a leach clinging to the side of the tub.

If there is no other armor - yes. I have the Toys by Troy version that wrap around to the back.

Yes, they can get in the way of a fuel filler nozzle. Some gas stations I simply cannot use because their nozzle won't work around my bars. So it IS something to keep in mind.

I have had mine laid over on its side with these things and there were no adverse tub effects.

Now having said that, the rails by themselves would be bad juju I think for the tub. But if they are attached to side/corner armor, you'll be MUCH better off.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

Im not impressed with Body Armor of late. I have their rock rails on my JK and they are fantastic. The ones I put on my tril rig TJ are nearly toast after one and a half season of wheeling. Can post pictures later today of the damage from rocks and such. looks like they changed the rails to a weaker metal and they simply dont hold up to a hit. that my opinion....

Not for the hardcore wheeler, but for the wannabee weekend warrior offroader here they are body armor tubrails installed. Easy install and nicely built.

I just ordered these POS and will be sending them back with a strongly worded letter that will include things I can't write on a forum...

Look at the rust right out of the box!!

i ordered mine about two months ago, came packaged already with the adhesive template on the rails already, which was not supposed to be done already...not to mention that both rails were bowed and not straight what so ever. I returned them the next day and probably going to stay away from body armor products in the future
