Black on Black LJ's or TJ's on 33's or +

I've been looking for Black on black (wheels) of rigs on 33's or larger tires to give me an idea of different black wheels on (actual) black jeeps to help me choose looks. Black jeep+black top+black wheels... I have a stock LJ I got last year that I will finally be able to mod. soon. So any pics/help or links to existing threads would rock. Thanks.

35" in the rear (soon to be installed) and 33" up front. I'm moving on from the black on black although it looks cool. I happen to buy it like that but am looking for a different look. I pass the torch to you sir.

Nice! I looked at a Red LJ Rubicon last year around the time I ended up finding mine. Dealer only wanted like 11.5 or 12k dollars for it... it was a stick with near or just over 100k miles, but man was it tired! The guy beat the crap out of it (wheeling-wise) and it wasn't even cleaned up so I passed to find a cleaner, (unfortunately) stock non-Rubi.

Thought I'd show a pic of my new setup for ideas sake; not black on black but black on dark grey.

I've included a bunch of mine over the years, a couple different wheel and tire set ups.

The first two are 33s and black steel wheels.
Then 35s on black steel wheels.
Then 35s on black Method beadlocks with gold (grade 8) bolts.
Then 35s on black ATX Slabs with polished ring.

sdjp - Thanks! The black on dark grey looks nice!! Cool throwback wheels man!!! Grey or ash would be a nice wheel option if I can find some alloys I can afford.

TexasTJ- Thanks several pics. I wish I could do 35's but since I won't be able to afford regearing, I think I'll have to go 32 or 33's (x10.50) to get some height and weight bang for the buck. Your rig looks great!

It's not black, but the green is so dark at some angles it almost looks black.

I didn't want all black wheels, so I went with these.

sold it a while back, should've kept it. I'm sure I have picks somewhere with both tops and doors

That's a nice rig blkrubi88!! The more I think about it and look at options, if I do go with a different set I might look for something similar to the ones you have.
