Bike Racks

Hey I'm trying to find the best rack for my mountain bike. It can be any style, but I want to see people who take their bikes on wheeling trips. I'm going to colorado this summer, so I need a rack that will get the bike out of the way and not take up ground clearance. I don't have a spare outside, so cross off spare mounted racks. Thanks!

Not sure if the XJ has the same rack style as the WJ, but I know the WJ is identical to the KJ or at least roof rails mount identical... this is a mopar roof rack but is actually made by yakima and made for a KJ (I lost a part and it was a ***** trying to find it without rebuying everything)

Anything from Thule is quality. I prefer hitch racks to roof racks because you don't have to lift the bike above your head and it is better for wind noise and gas mileage.

I have a Kongo Cage with Yakima Roof rack... I prefer roof rack because if some *** hits me from behind he doesn't destroy my ride. It also helps prevent theft. Gas mileage? Oh, I drive a Wrangler... we don't care. Pics soon (as soon as I can go out and snap one)

I use a XPORT Flatbed 2-Bike Hitch Rack. You can get it at performancebike.com . It is not as high of quality as a Thule or Yakima, but it has worked very well for me. Runs about $159.
It won't make you lose ground clearance, but like any hitch mounted rack, your departure angle will suffer.
