I ordered 5 of them about a week ago and they have been on backorder ever since. Hopefully they will ship soon.

Mamba Offroad Type MR-1 Wheels

I'm looking at a pair of Mamba Offroad type MR-1 Wheels for my 1999 Cherokee Sport.

These wheels look pretty neat and given the price advantage over OEM Mopar Moab Wheels ($139.99 versus $234.99), I'll save over $90 per wheel.

Anyone know if these rims are reliable. Kinda hard to pass up these wheels at this price.

Nobody has these yet? They are AWESOME. I've wanted a set of moabs for a long time, but the hassle/cost of painting or powdercoating them black, and buying spidertrax wheel spacers so I have decent backspacing for 33's makes these a great find. So where the heck are the pictures?

Backorder, backorder, backorder... I went with the ARE Mojave instead. Too bad i couldn't wait. Still looks good, just not as good as I imagined the Mambas looking.

If only I had a few extra hundred dollars! They do look awesome, and I'm like a lot of people here, I haven't been able to find cheap Moabs anywhere!

Anybody else notice it says 4.5" backspacing, but when you add to cart the description says 3.75"? What's up with that?

I was told by a close friend who is a vendor for their products that they will not be available until June 2010. I hope its not true to be honest but its looking like it might be. First I heard was the end of April then it was changed. I wanted to order these for the LJ but its looking like I cant wait that long. Ill call Mamba this afternoon and let everyone know what I find out

Ok I spoke with Tim and he said that Quadratec is going to be the very first place in the country to have them and they should be ready for sale in about a month.

In about one month works for me. I have to pay off $1,000 in insurance before I get the rims.

I plan on getting these for my 2006 wk, but you may want to factor in the price for the tpms..I think they run about $45/a tire.
