Hey JohnP,
Would you mind taking a picture straight down, showing the bolt locations? Warn says this will only work if you use their Winch plate, and would like to understand if it would work with mine (to protect the Winch, and add a couple light tabs to.).

That's exactly what I want to see too....thanks for the pics guys
Does the grill guard bolt to the bumper at the ends with bolts coming through the bumper into the guard? If so, why would you need the warn winch plate? Any info you have as to how it is mounted would be much appreciated JohnP...

The grill guard bolts to the front of the winch plate, not to the bumper.

No holes in the ends.....just where it will bolt to the front of the winch plate....ok
Well, that would make it a bit more difficult to mount it on another type of winch plate.

Thanks Blueflame.

My winch plate is a universal, and doesn't come up very high in the front, leaving no place to bolt the grill guard.

Jeepcurious, does your grill guard mount to the winch plate?

I'm thinking I need to find one that bolts to the bumper/crossmember bolts, or have one fab'd. The trouble is, finding one, and finding one that will clear my Milemarker winch.

Mine had holes, two on each side of the guard and also at each side of the front of the winch plate (where the fairlead would attach). Do you have the Warn grill guard and winch plate?

Theboogieman had a pic on one of the other bumper threads and I noticed he had a brush guard mounted to his warn bumper without the warn winch plate. Here is where his brush guard came from and where my new guard is coming from as well!

Thanks again boogie!
