Do what you want - it is your jeep. Just keep the stock rims so you can switch back or for the next owner.

Actually, I am keeping the stock rims and plan to have them black powder coated, and they'll be used in the winter when there's salt, etc on the ground. I saw in another post how someone did that, and while I'd considered it, seeing theirs sold me on the idea.

Thanks!
sounds like another ghey troll to me..

less rubber goes against every thing I have ever learned about traction

more surface area = more traction

Heres my jeep with 20" rims. 33" bfGs. Turned out pretty nice - detailed specs on the site. (Done as a street jeep not off road) - I love Jeeps - they look good no matter what!

I live in the city and haul my road coarse cars to the track with it. Just wanted something different than a regular truck or suv. I live 4 hours away from the closest legal off road area so it's pointless to have big tires that feel like there going to roll off the rim every time you try to keep up with traffic on corners.

I see and understand, I just like the off-roasting look personally, but I love the color of your jeep man

Thanks, Yeah my family loves the color! Plus I heard these things are great in the snow. My wife got stuck 3 times last winter even with blizzacks on her saab 9-3. This is her winter rig.
