As the somewhat embarrassed starter of this thread I want to stress that it was merely out of curiousity/ignorance and the few photos of I've see have scared me away from even 17"s. 18's look bad, 17's are ok as long as the tires are 37"s but for 35's, anything bigger than 15's or 16's looks goofy to me.

For anyone who's interested I came across this: http://project-jk.com/wp-gallery2.php?g2_itemId=7395

20" wheels and a little too blinged out for me but it's not totally hideous because 40" tires still have some sidewalls on them.

red7, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. i've never understood why some jeepers feel the need to go off on people. if you don't like it, move on. personally, i agree with you on that last one. not into the chrome, but it isn't a bad combo. would like it better if they were black or charcoal, but otherwise looks okay.

That's so ridiculous. Some people should NEVER be allowed to mod a vehicle.

Probably some guy who just traded in his ricer for a jeep.

Just so you all know, If I think you're an ******* I will gladly tell you. I'm not your everyday girl, so don't expect me to act like one. And yeah, I do like it topless and dirty!

Do you think that guy airs down when he goes offroad (parking lot)? It must not take too long.

Get me my tools and beer.

I ran into quite the predicament yesterday. A TJ on what looked like 22s and the rubber band looking street tires waved at me. I was so confused. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to wave back, or if it was some sort of violation. I reluctantly waved back, but I was looking over my shoulder to make sure no other Jeeps saw me. I felt like I was getting ready to run a red light or something.

think of how embarressed he must have been tho, if he knew of the jeep wave, then he couldnt have been that bad to mod it horriby, maybe he just bought it and was about to sell them and buy a lift?

and the sad think about that black jk, is that they even make rims that big, there is nothing that they could go on and look good, it looks so dam goofy, and maybe its me but dont think your rims should be bigger than half your tire size
