i had a 350z before the TJ, (i know its not a subi) but i can understand the feelings of missing a car badly. Sure do miss the 350z on nice sunny days on a nice curvy road or on ramp

i dont, however, miss it during the winter time lol. winter always made me envy the subi's and their AWD superiority

Very nice STI!!! even stock those are pretty fun...come to think of it most turbo subarus are fun even in stock form!!!! earlier trannies are not as great, but you gotta be careful with the newer ones too.

I know this thread is 2 years old, but I just got out of the subaru game after like 8 years. the tj is only about 3 months old to me, but so far great...(Knock on wood) coming from the subaru world I love how "simple" the wrangler is, roll windows, pull-out head light switch. Also, not to mention, I have become a doors off junky! even in our NY December. I can not wait for the weather to warm up and off will come the top. Its a great cruise. dont get me wrong, the subaru was one of the most amazing vehicles I have ever owned and driven and will probably own another one down the road, but I am loving the jeep lifestyle so far.
Anyway...here she is.

I bought it with just under 40,000 miles on it and at 178,000 miles cylinder 3 snapped a connecting rod. (putting down 340whp most of its life)...well sold her to someone and picked up the tj. I find myself drawn to vehicles with charm, the subaru makes you love it more everyday and I am starting to see it in the jeep. (I'm sure once I lift it (a little) and put wheels and tires on it, ill start to fall pretty hard)
If anyone has any subaru related questions, feel free to pm me if you like. I managed to pick up quite an education about turbo subarus after 8 years. lol
On one last note, not to sound like a "fan boy" early wrx transmissions are not "glass" if you drive it like a car, you will be happy, If you drive it like a 16 year old that gets a Lamborghini for their birthday, you might break it...if you don't kill yourself first. thanks for reading

The only one I have with the Subi and Jeeps together. I can't seem to keep all three clean at the same time so they are usually standing alone for pics after a wash.

2011 WRX STi sedan. Bone stock until warranty is gone then it's time to play.

Momma's short bus. My 95 Sahara in the background. Also the F250 I traded for the STi. Got tired of those $120 diesel fillups.

I love my Subi but know what you guys mean by missing something after it's gone. My old truck did everything good.... but for a price.

The 95 Sahara.... 'Ol Green.

I was a Subaru tech for 7 years. Most dependable cars on the road.

I had a brand new 04 sti. Got stolen at my work.
This is what I got back:

My uber rare RHD legecy (non mail car, with 7 diget vin)

And my rally car. 1993 Subaru justy. AWD. 1300lbs. 252hp b6t Mazda 323gtx motor
Goes like a raped ape.

My auto tech class' shop is literally 20 feet from one of the subaru tech training shops here in MD. Great guys over there. Sweet shop too. Bros have a 2012 forester and that thing makes my jeep look like a pile haha.

I had a 2002 WRX with a TurboXS Stage II kit, JRC suspension, OZ rims. I really miss that car ALOT. Power sliding it through back country roads...
