The Bedrug is thicker than the factory carpet and actually fits better too. The underside is cushioned and the installation went smoothly. I decided to not install the heat shields under the Bedrug because I actually want more heat inside the vehicle. I mainly drive this during the Fall and Winter and Minnesota gets very cold. I purchased a set of Rugged Ridge floor mats which also fit perfectly and match the Bedrug nicely.

I am with you on the black rims. I will probably just buy some black rims rather than go through all of the effort with prepping and painting the old gambler rims. I have another "toy" that already has nice rims and over 500 horsepower (SL55 AMG). This car does not like snow or mud though
I've always liked that color on a jeep, esp a yj. The last two pics, is that rattle can? I know the yj had a desert looking tan color, but I don't remember what they called it. My old one was the sahara green color.
