Has anyone bought a spray can paint for our color or do i have to get a bucket color matched. I dont have a compressor so i cant use a spray gun type i was looking for a rattle can

I did and it turned out pretty good. I bought five spray cans for the new hood, grill, fender and some body damage in front of the drivers door. The paint is EXACT match in color. I painted this in two days, outside, and yes I did throw on two coats of clear coat which prompts my first piece of advice. Use a good quality 'wide spray nozzle' clear coat if you can find one. Second, is take your time sanding. I spent the most time dismantling, prepping, sanding and taping. It's not professional by any means, but it looks pretty darn good considering this Jeep rear ended a BMW at about 45 mph.

Got some new material for this old thread!

I stretched it, and tucked the gas tank up out of the way!
