Just found this from another thread. Figured I'd add my AFP '02 X in with the rest of these AFP's and, uh, hum, a few of the Impact Oranges that have snuck in too...

^^Sweet lookin' Jeep, esp with those half doors which I've been trying to find for years in the Amber Fire color. Though I must ask, if you wheel this thing how does the D35 hold up with the locker and 35s? I'm open on 33s and am skeptical..tho I plan on ditching the D35 before I move up to 35s.

Ive had it for a year now and only wheeled with it twice then I did a tummy tuck along with all the other things to go along with it. I then found a d44 with an arb and chromolly shafts so I have this in here now wIth 4.88 have some more work to do when I take it to a welder to do my outboarded shock mounts. Ive still need a way to hook up my front ds as the flat belly tummy tuck made it too far to reach and the angle is too steep ill need adjustables.

Sorry about the tangent. To answer ur question it held up fine and the po said it was in there for a while. Traded it for a .357 that I was in the market for.
I love the half doors but I also want a set of full doors to go along with my hardtop.

Sounds like you've got a nice project coming along. I've been doing some reading as to which axles would be good for 35s-37s (out of curiousity), a D44 with chromollys would be awesome for my setup. I think the one downside of this color is trying to find matching doors since obv they're not as common, but its awesome nonetheless. Good luck with the build!
