So I found a gentleman selling 5 JK Rubi wheels with 255/75/17 BFG Mud Terrains on them for $750. Is that a ok deal, great deal, too good to pass up, or what? I don't have any money for wheels and tires right now, I just picked up my WJ last month. But that's the tire size I wanted to run, and while, I'd rather have Duratracs, the Mud Terrains will due. Should I try to find a way to purchase these wheels and tires? They are 2 hours from me, so I'd have to spend a fair amount of money on fuel and tolls to get them.

If it's brand new wheels that's a very good deal in my book. If say jump on it. Older wheels or just plain moabs wouldn't be worth that to me

Thanks. He says they are off a 2013 Rubicon. The tires look new in the picture. Don't have any other info to go on. But wouldn't 5 rims and mud tires be worth 2-3 grand in value? The tires are $250 a piece right?

After looking closely at the second pic, maybe they are worn a little?

What do you pros think?

I guess I can't upload pictures. Sorry.

The wheels alone would have to be worth more than $750.

That's what I figured. I just don't have the money to buy then unless my 97 ZJ sells.

So when I put JK wheels on my old WK (08 CRD) they wouldn't clear the brakes and I needed spacers unexpectedly. Will JK wheels (Moabs are regular ones from the "Sport") fit the WJ (mine is an 02) with no modifications?

Thanks!!

Yep, jk and wj are both 5X5. That doesnt mean tires will clear fenders though lol. My wj already had the 4" lift, someone can chime in on max tire size for stock.

Same as WK too but my issue was clearing the brake calipers on my old CRD. The wheels I had were off a "Sport" 2013 Wrangler JK.

What size are the wheels? If they're 16" wheels, then maybe that was your problem. I don't have a WK, so don't really know. My WJ came with 16" wheels before going with the 17s, so I don't think you should have a problem on your WJ.

I think the WJ, WK, JK wheels (maybe all 5x5 Jeep wheels) have 6.25" back spacing.

Well before I bought 17's off a 2013 JK for my 08 WK CRD then the wheels didn't clear the calipers and I was forced to buy spacers which I didn't want to run. Now I'm asking if 17's from a JK will clear my WJ Limited with no problems, also 17's

Yes they will. The wheels will fit without spacers. Tire size will determine if you need the spacers to avoid rubbing control arms or bumper ends/fenders.

Thanks. I was considering making this seller an offer of $200 plus shipping.
