A four inch SkyJacker...Just about EVERY grease zerk on the thing went bad and I had to rip them out, because they were pressed in instead of threaded.

So then I had to drill & tap them all. Good thing to check & replace on any lift kit BEFORE it's put on.

Other than that problem it seems to ride ok.

No body lift? I have a 4" pro comp lift but I want to put 35s instead of my 33s I wanted to see a jeep that looked similar to mine with the BL, do you have any probs with the 35s or did you change gearing or beef up you steering ?

I guess I'll go...

Here's how it looked about 2.5 years ago, freshly on 35" KM2's on a 3" Teraflex lift:

And here it is today, on the 4" Currie JJ lift and much work done to it since then...

Nope no body lift. I don't have any trouble with the steering, but I don't know if it's been adjusted or not. The tires were on it when I bought it, I just replaced them after 40K miles.

The gearing has not been changed, and it really needs to be, since I use it to plow snow also. Plus towing anything I have to turn off the overdrive in the automatic.

To further add to this, gearing should always be in the plan when you're moving from stock to 35s. It truly makes a massive difference.

I too, have no body lift, and frankly I prefer it that way. Though my steering has been beefed up quite a bit, but that's merely because I like to play in the rocks

Thanks man, I hate the mudflap law out here too, but I made em so they come off in just a few seconds. There just there to keep the cops at bay, the state troopers here on the island are pretty prejudiced towards targeting us lifted Jeeps. If you drive a truck tho they leave you alone, ask anyone in my club how many times we have been pulled over.......
