And actually, when I shoot more than 3 exposures I go full manual since Canon can't bracket more than 3 exposures.
I have been shooting for over 35 years, from pentax6X7 to speed grafix 4X5 to Olympus 35 am now digital. I guess over time I have picked up shorthad slang that I don't realize im using.

Also, I might have "thumbed down" a post. Droid and I are still learning the screen.

OK, now I am at a real computer and can type rather than poke on the Droid.

The force ISO is taken from an old Forced ASA or Pushed ASA when we used to take Kodachrome or Ektachrome and "push" the ASA/ISO number back to something like 12. So a Kodachrome25 would be set to ISO12 which would allow even better saturation of the film. It just required knowing someone at Kodak's lab when you sent it in and they adjusted it in processing.

So the shorthand came from [I guess] forcing the camera to always be at the lowest possible ISO. In full manual that should be able to be cheated a bit more by tinkering with fstop/shutter numbers, allowing infinite bracketing.

Shooting with the E3 and E30, I am finally able to get my camera down to a level of manual manipulation with which I am happy.

Right now I am happy with 12MP range. I can't yet justify moving up to a bladH4D 50MP unit, though the images are beyond awesome.

I went to Banff National Park last week, near Calgary.

Caught a nice sunrise, and ran it through Photomatrix. The tree silhouette looks better on the high-res version, and I got a bunch of the mountains with the sun coming up behind them.
