I can see your digital frame, obviously, but I don't see any sign of HDR processing. I don't believe the sky would be blown out if HDR (looks like a nuclear blast on the other side of the hill).

First of all, I am not the HDR Police. Secondly, I am not the HDR Police.

My comment was not asking you to delete or even suggesting that you do so, but rather along the lines of "where is the HDR shot?" Digital frame, yes; but HDR?

The whole reason for shooting HDR is to be able to capture that expanded dynamic range that our eyeballs see, but that our cameras cannot. Your offering appeared to be a standard picture with no HDR processing. The clue was the blown out sky; no detail.

If you were just looking to post without constructive criticism, then I apologize. Post away and I shall never comment on your photos again. My bad.

You'll fit right in here, Michael. Your HDR shots (on the website) seem to mirror what many on here want their shots to look like.

I, on the other hand, have moved from the richly saturated painterly look that you favor into a final image that is more subdued.

Cool thing about HDR is that there are many different effects and as we all know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm looking forward to seeing some of your work on here in the future.

In the meantime, here is my latest. A sunRISE; not sunset and a tad grungier than what I usually strive for:
