I would rather try to squeeze a 10L diesel engine into my bay than put a 1.8 that won't be any better than the 4.0.

You're talking about the 4.3 Vortec. The 4.2 is an I6 and it's got a lot of guts. The 4.3 V6 isn't an upgrade from the 4.0 I6 - it makes the same amount of power, gets the same gas mileage, and yes, it's less durable.
I have the 4.3L in my '88 Sea Ray. It was originally rated for 165HP. Definitely not an upgrade IMO. For the 2.5 guys, maybe. Not from a 4.0 though.

Ahhhh there we go. I hadn't heard of that engine before. Looks like the perfect size, and puts out a ton of torque. I want the 6BT though.

Yes, that is exactly what I was saying.

I don't think his flares are faded, I think they are primed.

100 Characters is not enough to have an interesting/relevant signature.

Still new to the program, shot those last night. Tips would be appreciated. Ran them through the painterly effect.

Tip #1: RUN!!!!

Tip #2: Photoshop out the huge Photomatix logo, or use the other workaround.

100 Characters is not enough to have an interesting/relevant signature.

Thank you. I cringe when I see my first HDR offerings; mostly over saturated with halos. I learned. Folks here will learn.
