These pics make you want to adopt them and give them a new home...

What if every High School shop class in America adopted one of these as a class project to restore and then sold them and donated the money to a children's charity.

Wouldn't that be neat.

SKT, you're killin' me with the '60's hard top CJ's!!! If I had the money and the means, I would buy that white CJ in the junkyard a couple of posts ago!! It looks pretty complete, save the wheels, and what's left under the hood. It looks like it either had, or still has, the 225 Dauntless!!

There's nothing like turning over, and just hearing a 48 yr old engine run, . God speed, my little red friend, I hope your life will be better because of me,

Jerry

Nope, not from Colorado, although I wouldn't mind moving there one of these years...

Simply found the great pics on another forum and wanted to share them here!

Jerry,

I hear you on the old CJ5 hardtopers! I definetly find them and the Jeepsters to be my favorite.

The above white one would really be a nice runner!

Wow, thanks for sharing all these great pics!

Curious if the owner would sell any of them, or if he is just going to continue letting them rot away...

The top is somewhat easy to find. It's a koenig iron works top. I have one for my 2a.

The '66 CJ5 in my first post has a top by that same manufacturer. It was't in that great of shape.
