Found this guy on a side street near the municipal pier on the island of Culebra Puerto Rico last week on vacation with my wife. Maybe not abandoned but neglected.

Non-Jeep, but great find nonetheless:

What a story! I have seen Shelby's on the freeway here in So Cal, quite a site to behold. OK, it has been 15 years but along the 5 out past San Fernando up through Gorman used to b a popular route to see them in action once in a while, not just those, but Yenko's, and even a few late model Calloways and other custom American muscles.

That oil around the valve cover does look suspect though. It could be as they explained I suppose. A first hand look before you bid right? I can imagine putting my hands on the steering wheel and what it might feel like. I can smell the interior too.
LOL

Couldn't imagine locating a barn find like that!

Would not change anything original on it, save for safety/maintenance items (ie tires, fluids, rubber hoses/lines, etc.).
